Sherewood Lodge
The award winning Sherewood Lodge Boutique Guest House is nestled against a rocky hill outcrop in the scenic suburb of Shere in the east of Pretoria near Silver Lakes.
This Afro-European style guest house is surrounded by beautiful indigenous bushveld with Fever-, Rock Fig- and Acacia trees. Sherewood Lodge’s design is inspired by Africa as seen in the use of natural materials of stone, wood and slate. The 9 luxurious rooms, decorated with natural materials, are well-appointed with private patios and independent entrances.
The Surrounding Area
Shere is a scenic suburb situated on the hillsides of Pretoria East. This provides Sherewood Lodge easy access to the N4 and N1 highways, which makes it conveniently close to all the necessary facilities and amenities that Pretoria offers as well as to the urban hub of Johannesburg. OR Tambo International Airport is only some 65 kilometres away. The area is characterised by lush vegetation which gives the landscape a breathtaking quality of natural beauty.
This promises visitors a real treat as they escape the ‘real world’ and immerse themselves in the beauty of Pretoria’s country side. There are a number of malls within Shere’s immediate proximity, including Hazeldean Square Pretoria, The Grove Mall, Atterbury Value Mart and Menlyn Shopping Centre. Shere is conveniently located to access all of the necessary facilities and amenities, as well as plenty of tourist attractions in and around Pretoria.
